Andrew L. Bemish is an attorney practicing in Plymouth, Michigan and specializes in the areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Probate, Taxation and Corporate Law.
Andy was born in Livonia, Michigan and raised in Northville, Michigan. After graduating from Northville High School in 1978, he attended Eastern Michigan University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Trade and German Language and Literature.
Andy attended the Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University College of Law) and graduated in 1987, with honors. Approximately one year later, he began advanced study in taxation and later received a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida Law School. Andy worked in the Tax department at the accounting firm of Coopers and Lybrand before entering the private practice of law. He co-founded the law firm of Bemish & Longe, P.C. with Jeffrey J. Longe. In 1997, Andy began A.L. Bemish, P.C. as a successor to the old law firm of Bemish & Longe, P.C.
He has been licensed to practice law in Michigan since 1987 and is a member of the Taxation, Estate Planning and Probate sections of the Michigan Bar Association. Andy speaks frequently on related topics such as avoiding probate and estate taxation.
 
There are many connections between the United States and Germany, whether by immigration, marriage or heritage. In these instances, there are entities and individuals who own the assets of these estates, whether in Germany or in the United States, there are probate and estate planning issues that arise in either country.
Trying to figure out which legal system must be used or should be used can become problematic.

Die Kosten für den Abend betragen $ 28.  In diesem Preis sind ein reichhaltiges Dinner Büffet mit Fisch, Hühnchen, Pasta oder Kartoffeln, Salat, Gemüse und Nachtisch, einschließlich nichtalkoholischer Getränke wie Kaffee und Decaf, sowie Bedienung und Steuern inbegriffen.  Wer seinen eigenen Teebeutel mitbringen möchte, kann natürlich heißes Wasser erhalten.  

Soft Drinks müssen extra bezahlt werden. 

Bitte möglichst mit Scheck bezahlen ($28, ausgestellt auf GPWA, Inc.), sonst passendes Bargeld bei der Verteilung der Namens-schilder überreichen. 

Die Mitgliedsgebühr für dieses Jahr war bis zum 18. März fällig. Für Erneuerung bestehender Mitgliedschaft nach diesem Termin wird eine Verzugsgebühr von $10 berechnet. Das Formular samt Scheck kann beim Treffen abgegeben werden. Gäste, die zum zweiten Mal kommen, sollten sich jetzt zur Mitgliedschaft entscheiden. 

Bei Anfahrt aus südwestlicher Richtung ist es ratsam,  statt I-696 East die  I-96 East (Richtung Detroit) oder 8-Mile Road East zu Telegraph North zu nehmen. Das geht meist schneller und ohne Verkehrs-stockungen.
 
Bitte seid rücksichtsvoll und meldet euch rechtzeitig an! Wir be-kommen Probleme mit dem Hotel, wenn wir die verbindliche Teilnehmerzahl nicht rechtzeitig mitteilen.
