About the Speaker:

Richard Dristy is a dedicated martial arts instructor with over 17 years of training experience. Growing up in Pontiac, MI, and now residing in West Bloomfield with his wife and 11-month-old son, he has traveled across the country to learn from and train with some of the top instructors in the field. His journey in martial arts began at age 12, inspired by his brother’s struggles with bullying. In an effort to support him, Richard decided to join the classes as well. This experience not only helped his brother gain confidence but ignited Richard’s passion for martial arts. He discovered a love for training and an even greater passion for teaching, driven by a desire to help others develop the same confidence he and his brother found.

Now, Richard is excited to share his expertise at our brand-new facility, where he will lead the upcoming Self-Defense Seminar. Join him to learn valuable skills and gain the confidence that comes from martial arts training in a state-of-the-art environment!
