Greta Reimold

About the Topic:

Just 5 to 10 percent of the general population has had a so-called “NDE” – near-death experience. Now with the availability of the internet and social media networks, more people are sharing their stories to provide hope for what comes next. What people are finding is there is often commonalities across all near-death experiences that point to greater questions about death – and ultimately – life itself.

Greta’s life had been relatively uneventful, until she nearly died giving birth to her daughter in 2023 due to a massive postpartum hemorrhage. She remembers leaving her body and watching the room from above, being in simultaneous places at once, and traveling through a wormhole toward a giant light and landing at the entrance to heaven. The story continues, and hopefully you’ll join us in-person to learn even more.

About the Speaker:

Greta was born in Germany while her father was working on an assignment for the U.S. military and continued to live back-and-forth between the U.S. and Germany for several years across her lifespan, eventually falling in love and settling in the metro-Detroit area. She studied PR and communications and went onto to work for several PR agencies and in communication roles until having her daughter Mathilda in 2023. She is known for her positivity and optimism until it was all tested in 2022 after experiencing a late-term stillbirth, and then exactly one year later almost dying in her second childbirth experience and remaining in a coma. She tells a story about moving into the afterlife, waking up to the beeping machines in the ICU and being “stunned” about being back on earth. She talks about recovery and how she perceives life now that she’s been given a second chance.
