A free guided tour of the visiting European Art Collection of the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA)

FRIDAY MAY 17TH – European Delegate visit
Special guests: Mrs. Eva Horelova, Deputy Head of Press and Public Diplomacy at the Delegation and Deputy Delegation Spokesperson, will join this panel discussion about Europe, touching upon co-op jobs and/or employment outside the US. Students will share their experiences in Europe. Mrs. Betina Schlossberg, immigration lawyer and board member of the Dante Alighieri Society will also be part of the panel. Presentation of the Volterra program at University of Detroit Mercy, School of Architecture

A grand culmination of all Euro-American events and participants, including speakers, cultural activities and folk dances. Guaranteed to be a celebration to remember, this cocktail and dinner reception is all about embracing cultural diversity and celebrating similarities. See you at the Cranbrook Science Museum for the official ‘Europe day’ event. Special guests: Leopold Eyharts, Astronaut of the European Space Agency (ESA) and Michigan’s Former Lieutenant Governor John D. Cherry

Presenting LAUGH IN EUROPE. The 4TH Euro channel Short-film tour. The fourth annual Euro film tour guides audience through the screening of a series of short films set in Europe. The films will be shown in their original languages with English subtitles.
