More Than Just Cookies, How the Girl Scouts are Shaping the Next Generation Female Leaders
Marc Berke has worked in the nonprofit sector as a fund development professional for over 25 years. He currently serves as the Chief Development Officer for the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan (GSSEM) which provides incredible programs and services for the more than 30,000 members from Sanilac to Monroe County. In his role at GSSEM, Marc directs all fundraising activities and strategies (outside of cookies) for the Council. Previously, he has worked for Forgotten Harvest, Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Michigan Chapter, Detroit Zoological Society and the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. Marc currently resides in Huntington Woods, MI with his wife Sharon who works for Berkley Public Schools, their two sons Cameron and Gabe and their dogs Wilson and Phoebe.
